Another generous donation!

Thank you to Jennifer Hughes the Community Life Champion from ASDA Chester Greyhound Park who arrived at the warehouse to present us with a cheque for £50 yesterday! 

This was donated by the ASDA Foundation as part of the 'chosen by you, given by us' Green token vote. Thank you to all the customers who voted for two months with green tokens - meaning West Cheshire Foodbank received £50.

Can You Help Us Refurbish Our Warehouse and Admin Office?

As part of our work to make sure that everyone who volunteers with us is working in a safe and pleasant environment, we're looking to refurbish some parts of our warehouse and admin office. 

The work will involve building/fitting some kitchen units and some electrical work. If you or someone you know might be able to help us out with this work, either voluntarily or at a reasonable rate please do get in touch.

November Supermarket Collection Roll of Honour

We salute the hard work and commitment of the people who made the success out of the supermarket collections on Thursday 27th, Friday 28th and Saturday 29th November 2014.

And another huge thank you to everyone who donated so generously. We can now confirm that, across the two stores, a grand total of 3840 kgs of food was donated!

Emma's Story

"Daughter who is 23 returned home for a year. Wasn't declared as didn't pay any money as part time hairdresser and Emma ended up with £3,500 debt (overpayment). Has addiction and couldn't cope and has large water debt. Because of situation and debts has slipped back from being clear (been to rehab). Has two daughters (9 and 11) at home."
